Andrew-You're correct. The public model has a very poor 4th down AI algorithm. I plan to bring a much smarter one online soon.

Wow so 1.92 WP worth of comebacks from the Pats and the Sox today.

The situation is rare enough it's likely a data smoothing / sparseness issue, but 4th and 4 at the opponents 26, with 30 seconds remaining, doesn't seem like a 0.99 lose percentage. Seems like about 50% chance you convert, and about 50% you get in from there; 0.75 seems more like it.

That Kenbrell Tompkins is really developing into a good deep-threat. Had a lot of dropped balls in the first few games but he has shown constant improvement and is starting toget the playbook down pretty well. With Gronk and Amendola back they should have a really good passing game.

Possibly biggest defensive choke this season. All they had to do was keep them out of the endzone for 1 play. Also, saints offense had 2 possesion in the final 4 minutes, big choke there as well.

How did the Patriots go from 0.47 WP to 0.01 WP after Brady spiked it at the end?

I think that's the craziest graph I've ever seen.

Patriots should have picked up Josh Freeman.

Saints: "Here, Pats, have another chance." Pats: "No, thanks, you can go ahead and finish it off." Saints: "No, really, we insist."

Looks like the spirit of 'unclutch' Manning temporarily occupied the corpus Brady to force that INT.

Risky choice on that 4th down... looks like good luck will justify Belichick if the Pats can drive for a TD here.

I noticed he dropped some of his own passes to himself. In fact, he passed to Thompkins, ran up and defensed his own pass to Thompkins.

Brady has been terrible in pass coverage today as well. He can't cover anybody!

My wife is getting a bit testy about the commentators attributing all New England offensive output to Tom Brady. She just shouted, "Come on, Brady! Kick another field goal!"
